I am a complete beginner; which workshop shall I attend?

The Digital Photography Workshops Level 1 and Level 2 (or 4 Days Digital Photography).

By attending both, Digital Photography Workshops Level 1 and Level 2, you will gain a full understanding of the Fundamental Principles of Photography “FOCUS, EXPOSURE and COMPOSITION”.

On Level 1 you will get to know your camera, your lenses, you will learn how to use it in fully Manual Exposure Mode and be confident with all menus and settings that are important to capture better images.

On Level 2 you will develop your eyes learning about Elements of Design, Composition, White Balance, Theme Photography and Photographing People & Places.

I am a keen amateur and have been taking pictures for many years, which course shall I attend ?

We recommend starting with Digital Photography Level 1 for most students, even if you think you know your camera very well. On this workshop you will learn to use the MANUAL Settings on your camera and really understand all the shortcut buttons and functions properly. If you have been taking pictures for a long time, but still use AUTO mode, P mode or SCENE modes, The Digital Photography Level 1 will be very good for you. Even if you have some knowledge, but are still unsure or need confirmation, you will be amazed on how much more there is to learn about what we think we know.

I think I am a good photographer; can I book on Digital Photography Level 2 without having done Level 1 before?

Yes, if you can use you camera in fully Manual mode and have a complete understanding of Lenses, Image Size and Quality, Advanced Exposure, Bracketing, Depth of Field, Motion Blur, Priority Modes and Focus you can come straight to Level 2.
Most people who come for Level 2 have done Level 1 before, and we’ll expect you to be fluent with the Level 1

I have just got my camera and know nothing about it; can I still enroll on your workshops?

Yes, some of our students bring the camera still in the box. It is great to learn the right way from scratch, so don’t worry about knowing nothing before the course. You will only need to charge the battery and also bring a memory card.

What do I need to bring for the workshop?

  1. Your camera, lens, fully charged battery, clean memory card, pen and paper.
